
Cristina Cambo
Cristina P. Cambo is a Partner and Founding Member at Cambo Ferry, PLLC. She has focused her career in the areas of first party property coverage and defense for residential and commercial carriers. She assists and defends property insurers in coverage disputes and litigation, including pre-suit investigations, SIU investigations, alternative dispute resolution, and all aspects of litigation through trial. She also assists her clients with third party liability coverage opinions and evaluations. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Cambo acts as a general advisor on a wide range of strategic business and legal issues for her clients.
Ms. Cambo has been called upon several times to offer testimony and draft model bill language to the Florida Legislature during Florida’s Special Sessions on property insurance reform. She is also regularly asked to be a guest speaker for various podcasts, webinars, and conferences.
Ms. Cambo is actively involved in both statewide and national professional associations. On a statewide level, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (“FDLA”), and she was the recipient of the 2024 President’s Award. Ms. Cambo serves as the Co-Chair of the First Party Property Insurance Committee for FDLA, as well as the liaison for the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee. Ms. Cambo was the Chair of the 2024 Florida Insurance Network Symposium (“FINS”) Conference hosted by the FDLA, and she was the Vice Chair of FINS in 2023.
On a national level, Ms. Cambo is an active member of the DRI, which is the largest international membership organization of attorneys defending the interests of businesses and individuals in civil litigation. Specifically, she was selected by DRI’s Center for Law and Public Policy as the Florida representative of the State Legislation and Rules Task Force. She is also an appointed member of the Federal Rules Task Force for DRI’s Center for Law and Public Policy.
In terms of community involvement, Ms. Cambo served on the Executive Committee for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Annual Light the Night Event.
Ms. Cambo graduated with Honors from Wake Forest University in 2006, majoring in History and double minoring in Anthropology and International Studies. She earned her juris doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law in 2011 as a half-tuition scholarship recipient, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. While on the Moot Court Board, Ms. Cambo was awarded Best Claimant’s Brief at the 2011 Willem C. Vis (East – Hong Kong) Moot and Honorable Mention for Best Respondent’s Brief in the same competition. She also earned Book Awards in Trial Advocacy (Victor O. Wehle Award) and Comparative Corporate Governance.
Ms. Cambo is licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Middle Districts of Florida. Ms. Cambo is bilingual in Spanish and is a dual citizen of the United States and Spain. She lives in Maitland, Florida with her family.

Katelyn Mae Ferry
Katelyn Mae Ferry is a Partner at and Founding Member of Cambo Ferry, PLLC. Ms. Ferry has practiced exclusively insurance defense litigation since 2014 and has focused her practice on the areas of first and third-party insurance coverage and defense. Ms. Ferry represents clients in all stages of defense, including the investigative phase, pre-litigation, appraisal, and litigation regarding claims for windstorm, water, hurricane, fire, mold, and theft, including suspected fraud. She frequently conducts examinations under oath, provides coverage opinions and analysis, responds to civil remedy notices and notices of intent to initiate litigation, and represents insurers through all stages of litigation, including trial.
Ms. Ferry is frequently consulted by her clients to assist in all aspects of their business, including drafting and creating internal workflows, revising and submitting policy language to the OIR, and preparing internal claim handling templates.
Ms. Ferry has testified before the Florida legislature on topics such as one-way attorneys’ fees, bad-faith, and repeal of AOBs. She regularly presents on these topics at both state and national conferences and has also authored several articles on these topics. She is extremely invested in the defense bar and furtherance of stabilizing the Florida insurance market.
Ms. Ferry graduated with Honors from the University of Central Florida in 2007 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Legal Studies. She earned her law degree as a presidential merit scholar at Stetson University College of Law in 2012, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and Phi Delta Phi Honor Society. While on the Moot Court Board, Ms. Ferry competed both in Hong Kong and Vienna in the Willem C. Vis Competition and was awarded Best Claimant’s Brief in 2011 and two Honorable Mentions for Claimant’s Brief in 2012 and Respondent’s Brief in 2011. Ms. Ferry also earned Book Awards for the highest grades in Disability Law and Interviewing and Counseling and the Matthew Bender Elder Law Book Award as the most distinguished student in Elder Law.
Ms. Ferry lives in Longwood, Florida with her husband and two children. She enjoys hiking, leisure reading, nearly all outdoor activities, and is active in her church.

Kevin Pavlas
Kevin Pavlas was born in Worms, Germany and grew up in a small village outside of Frankenthal, Germany called Eppstein. He moved to Florida in 1996 and has lived in Central Florida ever since. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Pavlas worked for ten years in PIP Insurance Defense with a focus on SIU claims.
Mr. Pavlas attended law school at Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was admitted to the bar in September of 2018. During his time at Barry University, Mr. Pavlas was selected to be a Dean’s Study Fellow and Personal Academic Counselor in the areas of Torts and Contracts. He also worked as a Bar Prep Mentor and assisted students studying for the Florida Bar Exam.
Mr. Pavlas focuses his practice on pre-litigation investigation support and assistance and has developed an end to end program to assist insurance carriers throughout the state with analysis and responding to Notices of Intent to Initiate Litigation as well as Civil Remedy Notices. This process allows for the efficient review and analysis of even the most complex claims to ensure that the carrier has exhausted all investigative steps to ensure that the right decision is made on every claim no matter how unique the facts may be. By providing this service, Mr. Pavlas also establishes a pre-litigation defense strategy to be implemented should litigation be filed to ensure a cohesive defense strategy and the efficient defense of litigated matters.
Mr. Pavlas’ pre-litigation work also includes conducting examinations under oath both for front end and SIU claims and he has worked on many complex fraud investigations and the subsequent litigation. The major investigation in which Mr. Pavlas assisted uncovered fraud by numerous mitigation vendors, public adjusters, and attorneys.
Mr. Pavlas also presents at conferences and shares his knowledge regarding pre-litigation investigative techniques and fraud investigations and has presented at FACAP (Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention) and FIFEC (Fighting Insurance Fraud Education Committee) conferences.

Michael Neusaenger
Michael Neusaenger was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Prior to finishing university, he served in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Field Electronic Technician. Following his service in the Navy, he returned to the Orlando, Florida and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Central Florida. Mr. Neusaenger next continued his education at Barry University’s Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. During his time in law school, he worked as an Extern at the Dispute Resolution Services at the Orange County Courthouse as a Certified County Mediator. After law school, he was admitted to the Florida Bar and practiced at an insurance defense firm in Lakeland, Florida with a focus on Worker’s Compensation Insurance Defense and Personal Injury Insurance Defense.
Mr. Neusaenger, his wife, and their three dogs love the Central Florida region and currently live in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Neusaenger is currently a Partner at Cambo Ferry, PLLC. For the past three years, Mr. Neusaenger’s practice has exclusively focused on First Party Property Insurance Defense. The bulk of Mr. Neusaenger’s practice involves Commercial Property Insurance Claims and Homeowner’s Claims with indica of Fraud/Misrepresentation.

Anita Bittner
Anita Bittner obtained her law degree from Rutgers University in 2015, where she served as a Publication Editor on the Rutgers University Law Review and represented Rutgers in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in New York City. During her time at Rutgers, Ms. Bittner interned for the Honorable Joseph Irenas in the United State District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Following her graduation from law school, Ms. Bittner completed a one-year judicial clerkship as a clerk for the Honorable Anthony M. Pugliese, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey – Civil Division, where she gained invaluable experience by assisting in various courtroom proceedings by reviewing legal submissions, completing legal research and attending trials and hearings as directed by the Court. She then served as a Deputy Attorney General at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, where she pursued civil penalties against insurance fraudsters pursuant to the New Jersey Insurance Fraud Prevention Act and prosecuted enforcement actions against public adjusters for violations of the Public Adjuster Act.
Upon entering private practice, Ms. Bittner concentrated on the area of first party insurance defense with a focus on insurance fraud and inflated claims. Ms. Bittner assists her clients in pre-suit investigations by conducting examinations under oath and providing coverage opinions. She is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in conducting depositions and in motion practice.
Ms. Bittner was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland and is bilingual. She is licensed to practice law in Florida, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Joshua Strudwick
Joshua Strudwick was born and raised in South Florida. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL and then continued his studies in Tallahassee, FL at Florida State University College of Law. During his time in law school, Mr. Strudwick’s love for the courtroom blossomed when he competed nationally with the Mock Trial Team and tried a handful of jury trials during an internship with the State Attorney’s Office.
Following law school, Mr. Strudwick began his career in commercial litigation and gained invaluable experience trying cases on behalf of the top 5 financial institutions. Presently, Mr. Strudwick focuses his practice on defending insurance carriers in first-party, third-party, and liability claims. Mr. Strudwick handles all aspects of pre-litigation and litigation, including but not limited to, appraisal, examination under oath, notices of intent, civil remedy notices, and bad faith. He has successfully advised insurers as to coverage disputes and litigated hundreds of breach of contract and declaratory judgment suits involving windstorm, water, fire, mold, theft, misrepresentation, and fraud. He has tried cases to verdict.
Mr. Strudwick is licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts. Mr. Strudwick is a partner at Cambo Ferry. When he isn’t practicing, Mr. Strudwick spends his time with his family, coaching youth basketball, and watching the Miami Heat, UCF Knights, and Florida State Seminoles.

Matthew Barclay
Matthew Barclay is a central Florida native and currently practices first-party property litigation and liability defense out of our Maitland office. Mr. Barclay attended the Florida State University College of Business where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Finance and minor in Economics. While earning his degree, Mr. Barclay served as the vice president of the FSU Pre-Law Society and was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Eta Sigma and Golden Key Honor Societies. Following graduation, Mr. Barclay worked as an analyst and advisor at one of the world’s largest financial institutions before returning to Florida to attend law school on a full academic scholarship. Mr. Barclay earned his Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law in 2018 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and served on the Moot Court Honors Board.
Since his admission to the Florida Bar, Mr. Barclay has focused his practice on representing corporations and insurance carriers against first-party, third-party, and liability actions. He has handled hundreds of cases ranging from breach of contract to premises liability and negligence matters, defending clients from pre-suit through litigation. Mr. Barclay is licensed to practice law in all Florida State Courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.

Bridgette Crespo
Bridgette Crespo is currently a senior associate attorney serving in the first party property litigation defense division. A proud resident of the Broward County area. Mrs. Crespo attended the University of Miami where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and International Relations. Following her undergraduate studies, Mrs. Crespo attended Nova Southeastern University College of Law where she received her juris doctor. Upon her graduation Mrs. Crespo served at the State Attorney’s Office for the 15th Judicial Circuit serving the residents of Palm Beach County where she prosecuted misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony cases. In 2019 Ms. Crespo left prosecution to join the Florida Department of Children and Families serving as an attorney for the Department in the Human Trafficking Division. Since 2020, Mrs. Crespo has been practicing first party property defense.

Erick Rodriguez
Erick R. Rodriguez is a Senior Associate in Cambo Ferry, PLLC’s Miami office, where he focuses on first-party property insurance defense, third-party liability defense, and complex litigation. With extensive experience in insurance coverage disputes, Mr. Rodriguez represents insurers in claims involving windstorm, water, hurricane, fire, mold, and theft, including cases
involving suspected fraud. He manages all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigations and examinations under oath to trial advocacy.
Beyond insurance litigation, Mr. Rodriguez has a diverse legal background, having litigated premises liability and general negligence cases, including trucking accidents, shootings, mining accidents, dog bites, exotic car theft, negligent security, fires, flooding, yacht explosions, slip and falls, trip and falls, property maintenance, animal attacks, vandalism, and ADA compliance
matters. His litigation experience also includes construction defect, contractual subrogation, and equine law matters.
Mr. Rodriguez regularly defends clients against fraudulent claims in both first-party and third-party contexts, using a strategic and aggressive approach to minimize risk and exposure. His goal is to offer clients a low-cost, high-quality representation that will yield results clients can rely on for their toughest cases.
Additionally, Mr. Rodriguez has experience handling employment law cases, including wrongful termination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and overtime compensation claims. He has also updated clients’ Terms and Conditions, Website Policies, employment contracts, non-compete agreements, and acquisition agreements, as well as advised clients on causes of action against terminated employees. He has further provided counsel on international data regulatory changes, property disputes, and business disputes.
As a dedicated member of the defense bar, Mr. Rodriguez is actively involved in legal organizations such as the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA) and DRI. His work extends beyond litigation, as he frequently analyzes industry trends and regulatory developments to update his clients on changes that impact insurers and businesses.
Mr. Rodriguez earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2019 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in April 2020. He also holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from the University of Central Florida’s Burnett Honors College, where he was awarded the Francis Bok Human Trafficking Research Fellowship by the Office of Global Perspectives for his work in international human rights and anti-trafficking research.
Mr. Rodriguez is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Rodriguez has a strong interest in technology, changes in the legal landscape, government, insurance, global politics, health, and athletics. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also has a passion for community service and engagement when his work and family commitments permit him to indulge in that endeavor.

Curtis Wurster
Curtis Wurster was raised in South Florida. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Florida International University in Miami, FL and then continued his studies at St. Thomas University School of Law. During his time in law school, Mr. Wurster’s love for the law was solidified when he became a member of St. Thomas Law Review and served as an intern for U.S Federal Judge Adalberto Jordan of the United States Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. Mr. Wurster graduated Magna Cum Laude and was admitted to the Florida bar in September of 2018.
Following law school, Mr. Wurster began his career in Family Law litigation and where he represented individuals in custodial matters and dissolutions of marriage. Thereafter, Mr. Wurster began his career in property insurance litigation and worked for one of the largest insurance carriers in Florida defending claims, which he has been doing for the last 6 years. Presently, Mr. Wurster focuses his practice on defending insurance carriers in first-party litigation. Mr. Wurster handles all aspects of litigation and has tried insurance cases to verdict.
Mr. Wurster, his wife, and their dog Luna currently live in Miami, Florida. Mr. Wurster is currently a Senior Associate at Cambo Ferry, PLLC. While he is not practicing, he enjoys watching the Florida Gators, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Heat & Miami Marlins.

Connie Guidry
Connie E. Guidry was born in St. Petersburg, Florida and grew up in Floral City, Florida. Mrs. Guidry graduated with Honors from University of South Florida in 2015, with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Political Science. Prior to attending law school, Mrs. Guidry served her community with the Clearwater Police Department and was a legal assistant at the State Attorney’s Office.
Mrs. Guidry attended law school at Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. During her time at Barry Law, Mrs. Guidry was involved in twelve student organizations, eight of which she was on the Executive Boards. Mrs. Guidry was selected for the Juvenile Defense Clinic, where she advocated for juvenile’s rights and helped the youth get their lives back on track. During summer break from law school, Mrs. Guidry returned to the State Attorney’s Office and completed 130 pro bono hours in one month while assisting the felony trial attorneys. Mrs. Guidry was selected 1 out of 50 in the country to complete an internship with the Judge Advocate General’s Corps during her second summer of law school where she gained incredible insight on Federal Law and our Military Justice System. Mrs. Guidry was selected to become a published author in one of her law school’s journals.
Following graduation from law school, Mrs. Guidry worked as a Law Clerk at a law firm specializing in Estate Planning & Estate Administration. Upon passage of the Bar, Mrs. Guidry served as an Assistant State Attorney in both Hillsborough and Seminole County, Florida. As an Assistant State Attorney, Mrs. Guidry prosecuted thousands of cases, advocating for victims of crime and the people of the State of Florida while gaining invaluable courtroom experience. Prior to joining Cambo Ferry, PLLC, Mrs. Guidry represented homeowners in First-Party and Third-Party Insurance Claims.
At Cambo Ferry, PLLC, Mrs. Guidry focuses on First Party Insurance Defense. She continues to assist her clients with her prior courtroom and litigation experience to provide zealous representation.
Outside of work, Mrs. Guidry enjoys spending time with her husband, Jackson, and children Chance, Nolan, and Lincoln, exploring with her two dogs, and traveling. Mrs. Guidry is licensed to practice in all Florida State Courts, as well as the United States District Court Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Florida.

Camilo Parra
Camilo Parra is a passionate, people-oriented attorney with a wide-ranging experience in the legal field.
Mr. Parra was born in Bogotá, Colombia, immigrating to Florida alongside his parents and older sister at the young age of three years old. Mr. Parra received his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and thereafter obtained his Juris Doctorate from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. Mr. Parra, his wife, and their 7 beloved cats reside in Apopka, Florida.
Since 2015, Mr. Parra has dedicated his time to serving underprivileged communities throughout central Florida. For five years, including before, during, and after completing law school, Mr. Parra assisted thousands of impoverished individuals to obtain disability benefits and break the vicious cycle of homelessness. From 2020 through 2022, Mr. Parra served as Staff Attorney for the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, where he assisted thousands of households to combat evictions, foreclosures, and debt collections, as well as obtain protective orders from domestic violence.
