Alexis Torres

Alexis’ legal career started at the age of 14, where she clerked for a firm representing commercial HOA clients. She worked her way through high school and college as a trial paralegal on sinkhole and general liability cases. She graduated law school in just 3 years, becoming an associate attorney with one of the largest women-owned law firms in the United States at the age of 23, representing half a dozen carriers concerning various liability cases. She then represented homeowners and commercial companies, with clients from retired appellate judges, national restoration companies, to the former CFO of a United State President.
Her reputation for aggressive but effective litigation resulted in her being the first General Counsel for a 15+ million dollar a year construction company based in central Florida, Colorado and Missouri. After years of fostering relationships on both sides of the aisle, Alexis became an approved counsel to handle global settlement conferences on behalf of homeowners and contractors against 3 different carriers. Her reputation led to requests for her to consult on various insurance claims, including cases involving a gas station shooting and medical negligence.
Ms. Torres is licensed in Florida, Missouri, and the District of Columbia. Alexis spends her off time re-exploring Tampa Bay with her St. Louis raised fiancé after successfully convincing him to adopt a corgi.
